Escape Simulator
Escape Simulator is a next-gen escape room experience: pick up and examine everything, move furniture, smash pots and melt locks! Play solo or with a friend to solve cryptic puzzles and riddles.
What it feels like
Solving cryptic puzzles at your own pace encourages unhurried reflection and problem-solving. The ability to freely examine, smash, and interact with everything invites experimental, mischievous play.
What it's about
Unraveling hidden truths and solving the central puzzle of each room is the core experience.
How it plays
Solving puzzles woven into the escape room environments — using objects, moving furniture, breaking things — is definitional to the experience. The core interaction model is clicking hotspots to examine, pick up, and use objects in first-person perspective. Cryptic puzzles and riddles require deductive reasoning to unlock mechanisms and progress.
How it looks and sounds
The entire experience is presented from a first-person perspective examining rooms directly through the player's eyes.
How it's structured
The level editor and thousands of community-made rooms provide effectively endless replay and discovery. The base game features designer-authored rooms; community-made rooms via level editor supplement this. Online co-op with a friend is a core offered mode for solving rooms together.
