GORN is a ludicrously violent VR gladiator simulator, made by Free Lives, the developers of Broforce and Genital Jousting. Featuring a unique, fully physics driven combat engine, GORN combatants will be able to creatively execute their most violent gladiatorial fantasies in virtual reality. Savagely strike down an infinite supply of poorly-animated opponents with all manner of weapons – from swords, maces, and bows to nunchuks, throwing knives, massive two-handed warhammers or even your blood-soaked bare hands. The only limits to the carnage are your imagination and decency, in the most brutal and savage VR face-smashing game ever produced by man.

What it feels like

Ludicrously violent, absurdist humor and gleeful disrespect toward decency define the tone. The kinetic rush and flow of creative, physics-driven combat delivers moment-to-moment thrill.

What it's about

Gladiatorial combat in a fantasy setting with medieval weapons and brutal, grim tone. Gore and viscera may horrify, but this is not the primary aim; entertainment is the focus.

How it plays

Close-quarters weapon combat with swords, maces, and bare hands is the foundational gameplay loop. A unique, fully physics-driven combat engine defines how violence and interaction work throughout. Gore and dismemberment are central to the spectacle and feedback of combat, explicitly highlighted as core.

How it's structured

Infinite supply of opponents and no defined ending suggest endless arcade-style play. Core experience is single-player, though user tags hint at local multiplayer options. Combat appears to take place in bounded arenas against waves of opponents rather than open traversal.
