Planet Crafter

2024Miju GamesXbox Series X|S, PC (Microsoft Windows), PlayStation 5

You are sent on an hostile planet with one mission: Make it habitable for Humans. You'll have to survive, collect ressources, build your base and machines in order to heat the planet, create an atmosphere with oxygen and eventually geo-engineer an entire planet.

What it feels like

An earned optimism that through effort and engineering, a dead world can be renewed and made home for humanity. The game plays its terraforming mission and survival stakes with sincere, unironic commitment to the fiction.

How it plays

Reshaping the planet's atmosphere, temperature, and pressure into habitability is the definitional core mechanic and narrative goal. How it's structured

A large continuous space explorable in player-chosen order is central to the terraforming experience, allowing free navigation across the hostile planet. Few imposed objectives beyond the terraforming goal; players set their own priorities for base construction, resource gathering, and ecosystem alteration. Designed for 1-10 players cooperating online toward shared terraforming objectives is a major structural feature.
