Beat Cop

2017Pixel CrowPlayStation 4, Linux, Android, PC (Microsoft Windows), iOS, Mac, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

A retro, pixel art style adventure in New York, inspired by 80’s cop shows. You are Jack Kelly and you’ve been framed into murder. Now as a regular beat cop you have to find out, who did that. Expect thick crime story, a lot of black humour and all the other things you can find on the streets of Brooklyn.

What it feels like

Black humour and satirical tone toward crime and cop tropes define the comedic voice throughout. Gleeful disrespect for cop show conventions and criminal underworld seriousness via black humour. Despite black humour, the crime story and character stakes are played with sincere emotional weight.
