Chroma Squad is a tactical RPG about five stunt actors who decide to quit their jobs and start their own Power Rangers-inspired TV show! Cast actors, purchase equipment and upgrades for your studio, craft weapons and giant Mechas out of cardboard and duct tape.

What it feels like

Comedy and meme-forward design invite the player to enjoy absurd cardboard-and-duct-tape mecha and stunt-actor hijinks. A cheerful, unburdened mood throughout—the game never asks to be taken seriously, celebrating B-movie charm and genre pastiche.

How it plays

Turn-based grid tactics combat is definitional—positioning, range, and tactical positioning of the five-person squad decide battles. Purchasing equipment and upgrading your TV studio between episodes is a persistent progression system that unlocks capabilities. Assembling and directing a squad of five distinct colored-jumpsuit characters with different roles is a core system.

How it's structured

Designed exclusively as a solo experience with no multiplayer component. A bounded story arc following five stunt actors starting their TV show from inception through completion, with a clear narrative spine. Every mission and narrative beat is deliberately authored rather than procedurally generated.
