Peak
Peak is a cooperative climbing game for up to four players. After crash-landing on an unknown island, players take the role of scouts attempting to ascend the mountain at its center. The mountain is semi-procedurally generated and changes every 24 hours, featuring five distinct biomes with unique obstacles and enemies. Players manage stamina, collect climbing tools like ropes and pitons, and must work together to survive hazards while ascending.
What it feels like
The emphasis on high-stakes climbing where mistakes are fatal creates sustained edge-of-seat pressure throughout. The kinetic rush of coordinated group climbing toward a high-stakes summit creates thrilling moment-to-moment play.
What it's about
Players must survive hazards, enemies, and the hostile environment of the island to reach safety. Players are stranded on a mysterious island, isolated from rescue, which contextualizes the climbing quest.
How it plays
Climbing and navigating the mountain's terrain is the core mechanic, with players jumping and traversing hazardous geometry. Deliberate climbing with stamina management is the defining interactive system around which the entire experience revolves. Stamina management and the collection of climbing tools (ropes, pitons) are central systems that pressurize decision-making.
How it's structured
The game is fundamentally designed as a cooperative climbing campaign where up to four players work together toward the shared goal of ascending the mountain. Online cooperative play for multiple players is a core feature enabling the group-based climbing experience. The mountain is semi-procedurally generated and changes every 24 hours, ensuring variance between playthroughs.
