The primary experience is grounded in survival horror atmosphere and objectives within the Resident Evil universe. Zombies and infected creatures are present as threats summoned by the Mastermind in the horror setting.
How it plays
Survivors use firearms and tactical shooting against enemies and the Mastermind's traps as a significant combat tool. Survivors manage limited ammunition, health items, and supplies under pressure from the Mastermind. Survivors must navigate and avoid or manage enemy awareness as part of the survival horror escape challenge.

Core gameplay is presented from a third-person camera perspective following survivor movement.
How it's structured
Core gameplay is structurally asymmetric with one Mastermind playing against four Survivors with completely different rules, abilities, and goals. The 1v4 format is fundamentally competitive PvP where Mastermind and Survivors directly oppose each other toward opposing victory conditions. Four survivors cooperate online with each other against the environment and Mastermind threat, forming a cooperative survival core.
